The complete ladder
Video Verification Plus
Quick answer
Video Verification Plus combines the Supplier Verification Report, the Pre-Deposit Risk Review and a Live Factory Visit, then compares what the registry, the documents and the site each showed. It starts at US$1,299 over 5–7 business days and is the highest-evidence FactoryPass China package before a first order. It still does not certify the supplier or replace a formal audit, inspection or laboratory testing.
- Turnaround
- 5–7 business days
- You receive
- English PDF report, live session and combined findings summary
Fixed buyer-paid fees only. We take no commissions or kickbacks from the supplier being reviewed.
Who this service is for
The highest-evidence FactoryPass package before a first order — for buyers whose order value, tooling commitment or risk tolerance justifies checking the company, the documents and the site in one pass.
- Buyers committing a substantial first order or tooling payment
- Hardware startups selecting a manufacturing partner
- Buyers whose earlier checks raised questions only a site can answer
- Procurement teams that need one documented, end-to-end screen
- Buyers replacing a cancelled China trip with the nearest remote equivalent
When buyers order this
The order is big enough that “probably fine” is not a plan
When the deposit is five figures, running all three evidence layers before payment costs a small fraction of what it protects — and produces a document trail your partners and insurers can read.
You need the three sources compared, not just collected
The registry says one thing, the PI another, the site a third. The combined findings summary exists precisely for the disagreements — that comparison is what a buyer cannot easily assemble alone.
The supplier relationship will be strategic
A partner you intend to grow with deserves the full ladder once, at the start — and the unresolved-question list becomes your agenda for the relationship.

The exact sequence
The order of operations is the product. Company check first, document review second, live visit third — each stage arms the next, and the summary compares all three.
- Company check: registry records, identity consistency, factory-versus-trader indicators
- Document review: quotation, PI, beneficiary and terms, read against the verified entity
- Live visit: the claims from stages one and two, tested at the site with you watching
- Combined findings: where registry, documents and site agree — and where they do not
- Prioritized follow-up questions, ordered by how much each answer would change
- Recommended next verification step, stated plainly
Deliverables
Everything the three component services deliver, plus the combined summary — in 5–7 business days.
- Supplier Verification Report (English PDF)
- Pre-Deposit Risk Review findings
- Live visit session, recording where permitted, and visit notes
- Final combined findings summary
- Identity, document and site consistency comparison
- Prioritized follow-up questions and a recommended next step
How it works
- Step 1
Send everything you have
Supplier details, documents, site address.
- Step 2
Company check
The entity is established before anything else moves.
- Step 3
Document review
Your payment documents, read against that entity.
- Step 4
Live visit
Scheduled with the supplier; you join and direct.
- Step 5
Combined findings
One summary, three evidence sources, compared.
Limitations
Three layers of evidence are still evidence, not a warranty. The package inherits every structural limitation of its parts.
Read this before ordering
- The live visit remains subject to supplier consent, access rules and connection quality.
- Documentary and visual evidence describe the present and the past, never future performance.
- The package does not include product inspection, laboratory testing or a formal audit — and the summary will say if your decision needs one.
- Where the three sources conflict and the conflict cannot be resolved, the summary reports it as unresolved rather than smoothing it over.
- This is the most evidence we can gather before a first order. It is not certification, and we will not describe it as such.
One engagement, four outputs
Bought separately, the three components start at US$1,198. The package starts at US$1,299 and adds the combined findings summary — the comparison across sources that the separate deliverables do not contain.
- 1
Company check
Who is registered, active and actually behind the quote.
Supplier Verification Report
- 2
Document review
Whether the paper trail leads to that entity.
Pre-Deposit Risk Review
- 3
Live visit
Whether the site matches the claims, on camera.
Live Factory Visit
- 4
Combined findings
Where the three sources agree and disagree.
Unique to this package
Example findings
What the combined comparison surfaces that single services cannot. These are illustrative patterns drawn from the categories we review — not excerpts from real client reports.
“Registry, PI and site all resolve to one entity at one address — with two open questions on inspection terms.”
The strong positive case. The buyer proceeded, with the two questions settled in writing first, and the summary recommended a pre-shipment inspection as the next step.
“The verified entity is a trader; the visited factory is real but belongs to its disclosed manufacturing partner.”
A structure that only shows up when documents and site are compared. Workable — many good suppliers are traders with stable factory relationships — but the buyer now contracts knowing who actually makes the goods.
“Documents were consistent; the site visit found the claimed address to be a small office, with production “at another facility” that could not be visited that day.”
The document layer alone would have passed. The summary rated visible risk as elevated and made the second-site visit the precondition for any payment.

Frequently asked questions
What does Video Verification Plus add beyond buying the parts separately?
The combined findings summary. Running the company check, the document review and the live visit as one engagement lets us compare what the registry said, what the documents said and what the site showed, and report where those three sources disagree. That comparison is the part a buyer cannot easily assemble alone. It starts at US$1,299 over 5–7 business days.
In what order do the steps happen?
Company check first, then the document review, then the live visit, then the combined summary. The order matters: knowing the registered entity and the payment documents in advance is what tells the field representative which specific claims to test on site.
Is this enough to place a first order safely?
It is the highest-evidence package we offer before a first order, and it is still not a guarantee. For a first order of meaningful value, the usual next steps beyond this package are a pre-shipment product inspection and, where the relationship is strategic, a formal factory audit by a qualified auditor. We will say in the report which of those we think applies.
