What we do
We work at one decision point: the moment an overseas buyer has found a Chinese supplier and is preparing to pay, but does not yet have enough evidence to trust the company, the documents or the claimed factory. Everything we sell — company checks, document reviews, live buyer-directed factory visits — exists to put evidence under that one decision.
How we work
In English with buyers and in Chinese with suppliers, registries and field contacts. By email, with scope and fees in writing before payment. And within strict claim discipline: we report visible evidence, inconsistencies and unresolved questions — we do not certify suppliers, and we do not guarantee quality, delivery or future conduct.
- Independent. Fixed buyer-paid fees only. We take no commissions or kickbacks from the supplier being reviewed. No supplier lists for sale, no referral fees from factories. How independence works here.
- Evidence-led. Official records outrank supplier claims; conflicts are shown, not smoothed; missing evidence is reported as missing. The full methodology is public.
- Calm. China sourcing is neither the minefield of horror stories nor the frictionless miracle of marketing pages. Most suppliers are ordinary businesses. Our job is telling you which kind you have found.
What we will not tell you
You will not find client counts, star ratings, factory-network numbers or years-of-experience claims on this site — not because those numbers would be unimpressive, but because we cannot yet document them to the standard we apply to suppliers. As real, documented case numbers and consented case studies accumulate, they will appear. Until then, judge us on the things you can check today: the methodology, the sample report and the working checklist we publish without a gate.
The team
FactoryPass China is run by a small bilingual team based in China, working in English with overseas buyers and in Chinese with suppliers, registries and field contacts.

Jerry coordinates overseas buyer enquiries, supplier-document intake, service scoping and live factory visit planning from China, and is the point of contact for questions, corrections and supplier appeals.
Further named team profiles and real field photographs will be published as the field team grows and as individuals consent to appear. We do not use stock photography of people pretending to be us.
